brisbane fashion week

not nearly as glamourous or pretentious as NY Fashion Week or anything of the like,
Brisbane's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week really try to make the common suburban-person feel like they are truly experiencing 'high fashion'.

so, naturally, i decided to be absurd and dress a little obnoxiously.
80s hair, clown dress, a atrociously cut uneven skirt and a Mercedes Benz logo ripped off a car and transformed into a necklace.

the show consisted of 5 designers:
Chelsea De Luca
Talulah
Sasha Drake
Pia du Pradal
Juli Grbac

personally, i thought Juli Grbac and Talulah were the best. Grbac had very girly look, with beautiful pastel colours and plenty of ruffles, puffs and layers. as opposed to Talulah who had a modern looks, bold colours and plenty of shiny things.

and with only one nipple slip and two shoe incidents, the show left me thinking "oh Brisbane, bless you for trying".
